Burrill Biotechnology Capital Fund, L.P.

 Burrill & Company is the General Partner of the Burrill Biotechnology Capital Fund, L.P. (the "Fund"). This Fund invests in companies having bio-based technologies broadly applicable to the biotechnology industry at various stages of development. In general, most of the investments are in the early stage (though generally not "seed round" investments) through mezzanine stage, with the largest number of investments in Series A/B and mid-stage rounds. This fund closed in 1999 and is capitalized at $140 million.
