Simon Waddington

Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Dr. Waddington is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence. He is involved in building start-up companies across Burrill & Company’s sectors of interest. He has 10 years of experience as a venture capitalist investing across Europe, Israel and the US, and prior to that started and ran Monsanto’s European corporate venturing activities. Prior to that he was Product Development Manager for Zeneca’s biopolymers business and a Senior Research Scientist for ICI specializing in surface and interface science. He has worked in the UK, US, Belgium and Germany. He holds a Ph.D. in physics and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
